Captain Scarlet warmup sketch inks all scanned. I used to watch Thunderbirds as a kid, but could never bring myself to watch Captain Scarlet, even though he seemed infinitely cooler than the Tracy brothers.

One of the comic book ideas that hangs around in the back of my head from when I was a kid is a modern “dark” updating of Captain Scarlet. I just figure the psychology of an indestructible man would be really interesting to explore. Also, you could do some great, over the top violence. It’ll never, ever happen, but still; there it is, at the back of my brain, festering away. And now I know who I want to draw it instead of me. This does not help at ALL
